It is an obligation upon every believer to recite the Glorious Qur’an in the best possible manner, to the best of their ability.

This course develops the learner’s ability in Arabic phonetics specifically for the purpose of the recitation of the Qur’an. The course is designed to cater for complete beginners in Tajweed (who can already read Arabic) as well as those who have some previous knowledge and ability of Qur’an recitation and Tajweed.

Students will study the rules of Tajweed, and have an opportunity to implement such rules in their reading looking into the Qur’an, and lastly learn to recite some surahs by memory.
